It is my hope that young engineers who will be responsible for the future could carry a formidable determination and a challenging consciousness to take the highest authority in their chosen professions.

Doowon Technical College was established by Kim Chan Doo, chairman of the Doowon Group and Doowon Academic Foundation.
With his educational sense of duty, the chairman sought not only to "provide educational chances to all the students who live in educational barren land but to cultivate the senior professional technicians required by the industry, and to contribute to the development of Korea through enlightening new technology."
