Program of the Department of Mechanical Design is designed to provide students with the knowledge and practical skills required in 3-dimensional design of automobiles and electronic products. As automobile and mobile phone industries have been expanding, d esign technologies and up-to-date design tools have been increasingly required. Students learn technologies of geometric part modeling and assembly of parts, experiencing 3-dimensional design tools, such as I-DEAS, CATIA, and Pro-E, in modern and well-equipped computer labs. Graduates of this department will take roles as professional engineers in the fields of production, design, and management in a variety of industries such as automobile and mobile phone manufacturers, with the strong skills and knowledge.

All students in this department receive training in computer applications, applied mathematics, basic mechanics, CAD, engineering drawing, engineering design, and manufacturing processes. Following the completion of a common first year, students select one of two courses of specialization.

::: IT Product Design Course :::
::: Electronics Product Design Course :::

::: Courses after draduation :::

Graduates of this department have diverse employment opportunities in industries such as automobile companies, mobile phone design companies, machinery design and manufacturing companies, electrical and electronics manufacturers, mould and die makers, and automotive parts manufacturers. Positions of employment include shape design, production design, CNC programming, production technology, maintenance, product development, quality assurance, cost estimating, and technical sales and services.

Graduates with sufficiently high standing will be eligible to transfer to the third year in universities to obtain Bachelor's degrees.

::: Technical Lienses :::

After the completion of the first year in this department, students are applicable for test to acquiring technical licenses in the fields: mechanical design; manufacturing; construction machinery; machinery fabrication; CAM ; production automation; precision measurement; etc

::: Study group :::
