The goal of our department is to educate and train students who seeks to be a creative and professional engineer preparing the information age of 21st. century. We designed our curriculum by applying the DACUM (Developing a Curriculum; Job Analysis & Evaluation) method and have continuously maintained it. Our department has state-of-the-art facilities and provides hands-on lab exercises taught by experienced instructors in three majoring fields such as telecommunication network, mobile communication and information media courses. Three major fields are the followings.

::: Major Fields :::

::: Mobile communications :::
Mobile communication program focuses on RF IC design, mobile network operation, production and test technique of cellular phones. This program focuses on understanding and applying of basic techniques in electronic and communication technology for purpose of testing, maintaining, repairing and upgrading digital as well as analog wireless communication systems.

::: Communication network :::
Communication network program focuses on the design and implementation of networks especially LANs, TCP/IP, operation, administration and management of telecommunication networks, and management of NT servers, VHDL, C language, network programming, microprocessor and CCNA.

::: Information media :::
Information media program focuses on learning technical components for the new IT paradigm called as "Ubiquitous."This program deals with HW and SW technique of information acquisition equipment, mobile phone or PDA, embedded OS, application running on embedded system environments, C language, CDMA communication systems, embedded HW and SW, RTOS, Win CE, and TCP/IP

::: Curriculum :::

Our program is the three year regular course and students have to complete at least 120 credits. Specifically, students have to complete at most 28 credits in liberal arts and remaining credits in professional area. Especially, we also have an international corporate certificate program called CCNA. Cisco Network Associate Certificate Program is to provide an opportunity to establish a basic foundation in the field of Cisco network design and implementation.
