:: 3 Dimensional Design
Approaches concepts in space design by developing original ideas and creative modeling. Improves sketching and presentation skills.
:: Field Study
4 weeks of field study in design-related places like departments of design in industrial institutions, design-specialized companies. Students learn how to apply their school knowledge to actual work.
:: Project
An industrial project is selected, planed, and a target of project positively, voluntarily is designed by the members, then they have an experience of project processing as much as in practical field and powerful task analysis techniques.
:: Study of Color
Method to have creative idea through observation and imagination. Practice of arranging colors on the basis of basic theory of the size-contrast in color and the three natures of color. Enhances fundamental talent necessary for designers by experimenting on colors and shape.
:: Industrial Design Theory
Gives students wide range of knowledge of industrial design through consideration of history : the essence and duty of design, relation with other studies, the distinct factors of each step in the process, morality of design.
:: Formative Design
Materializing of on idea by various ways of expression on the basis of understanding basic factors in form such as dot, line, and a cube.
:: Portfolio
Study of making a good and persuasive portfolio. Planning, composing, design, display and physical structure of portfolio.
:: Computer Graphic
Teaches efficient ways to use computers. Practice of computer aided graphics, two and three dimensional expression, animation, drafting, modeling, and coloring.
:: Sketch Rendering
Sequel to drawing. Develops ability to put a final idea into real shape and texture so that cubic effect in 2 dimensional form can be shown visually.
:: Design Material & Structure
Material and Manufacture introduces method to amplify efficiency in product manufacturing. The general state of production such as the characteristics of materials and matters to consider in design is stressed in close connection with product design.
:: Industrial Design Graphics
Focuses on graphic factors and interfaces in relation to industrial design. In connection with product control graphics and considering of user interface design develops ability to elevate the utility of products, texture so that cubic effect in 2 dimensional form can be shown visually.
:: Design Drawing & CAD
This class is about mastering the basic drafting. This course is to see in advance the problems that may happen in manufacturing the search for the ways to solve them by previewing the set design described with accuracy, clearness and promptitude.
:: 2 Dimensional CAD
Sequel to design drafting. Practical approach to advanced drafting. Enhances ability to describe complicated, difficult design with accuracy, clearness and promptitude by 2 Dimensional CAD. Through this class students are enabled to examine problems in advance and solve them in practice.
:: Basic Industrial Design
A guide to industrial design. Searches for the range of industrial design and the way to develop. Teaches practical method to develop the process by having case study.
:: Basic Product Design
A guide to basic product design. Searches for ways to solve problems that may develop in every step of design from laying out ideas about new products to the final item. Teaches practical method to unite the function and shape of products by having students make a simple product with one function or two by themselves.
:: Design Methods
Teaches methods to solve various problems in all stage of design: examination, analysis, synthesis and evaluation in an efficient and systematic way. Diverse design methods are addressed, which are about analyzing design problems, having creative ideas, collecting and applying data, solving problems.
:: Computer Aided Rendering
Sequel to computer graphic and sketch rendering. Teaches efficient ways of rendering to use computer. Practice of computer aided graphics, two and three dimensional expression, coloring.
:: Digital Home Appliances Design
Based on the understanding of digital home appliances from huge product design such as design for industrial and manufacturing machinery, electronic and electric appliance to an easy design for a simple functional tool. Students experience the whole design process with emphasis on marketing and manufacturing and are enabled to realize the design concept and suggest the function more clearly.
:: Living Product Design
Practical study of living product design. Focuses on social function and related factors of product and its systematic development concept. With aim at systematic operation in general design process, methods to produce the most appropriate model are dealt with in practice.
:: Interface Product Design
This course enables student to develop product design skills through designing basic elements of interface. Students will learn how to visually organize and convey information for different types for the product which is considered user interface design.
:: 3D Modeling
This class is designed to use 3 dimensional software. Students can improve their ability and learn how to use and express their shapes to 3 dimension.
:: 3D Rendering
Sequel to drawing. Develops ability to put a final idea into real shape and texture using computer rendering tool so that cubic effect in 3 dimensional form can be shown visually.
:: Product Graphics
Focuses on graphic factors and interface in relation to product design. In connection with product control graphics and pictogram is taught in connection with pet name design general graphics factor and emblem design. Develops ability to elevate the utility of products, texture so that cubic effect in 2 dimensional form can be shown visually.
:: Ergonomics
Through the study of relationship between humans and other stuff like machinery, working places, environment teaches how to apply human technological knowledge to product design. By studying human technology-related theory such as function, nature and measurement of the human body, human mechanic system and applying them to real product design, students learn to have ability to solve human technical problems in product design with efficiency.
:: Design Marketing
The aim of this class is to grasp the purpose, necessity and direction and to enhance the ability to predict the result and to lead students to acquire diverse knowledge and information on the status quo of circulation.
